Sunshine Coast Alive brings record crowds
Sunshine Coast locals beat a well-worn path to Nambour’s Lind Lane to enjoy the annual Sunshine Coast Live Theatre Festival recently.
The festival is in its 37th year, with may of the performances sold out.
Entries came in from all over South East Queensland across a range of genres, providing a plethora of choice for theatre goers. The Festival forms part of the SEQ Drama Circuit celebrating all things theatre with the Youth Festival on the first weekend reaching capacity audiences.
For the past five years, A collaborative effort from our Buderim, Caloundra, Marcoola, Tewantin, Pomona, Cooroy and Woombye Community Bank® branches, as well as our corporate branches in Nambour and Maroochydore has helped make this festival possible.
We look forward to the festival every year. It gives our people the opportunity to think creatively about our partnership and about how we can support the growth of our Sunshine Coast cultural community.
In addition to our sponsorship, we also provided $1,000 worth of bursaries which were awarded during the Festival.
We love being able to support our local community and cant wait to do it all again next year.
