Growing grassroots with every sponsorship

At Bendigo Bank, we know the greatest teams and fan-favourite players grew from grassroots. It’s why we support local clubs that create pathways to bigger things.

Discover how we support important initiatives through our major sponsorships.

Beyond the excitement of the biggest games on the biggest stages are thousands of stories of players, coaches, and volunteers giving their all to the sports they love. So, it’s only fair that through our major sponsorships we play our part, ensuring clubs and communities feel the same level of genuine support from the bank that’s bigger for them.

Adelaide Crows

Standing strong with the pride of South Australia for over a decade, the partnership between Bendigo Bank and the Adelaide Crows is one defined by shared ambition and community strength.

Since 2014, our partnership has grown through a mutual commitment to supporting local people and the unwavering goal of helping the club thrive on and off the field.

We’re excited to continue our support for the mighty Crows and their passionate members, supporters and partners, as the club strives for even greater success.

Geelong Cats

For 25 years and counting, Bendigo Bank has stood alongside the Geelong Cats, “the Greatest Team of All”, through an era of growth, resilience, and enviable success.

Since joining forces in 1999, our partnership has helped strengthen the Cats’ foundations, supporting their journey toward sustained stability off the field and remarkable achievements on it.

As such an integral part of Geelong and the surrounding townships, we’re proud to continue backing the club and community around it, today and into the future.

Bendigo Spirit

A team close to our heart - and from our heartland - Bendigo Bank is proud to partner with the Bendigo Spirit for their 19th year in the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL).

Since making their debut in 2007, the Spirit won back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014, and are the reigning WNBL Champions, after winning their third title in 2025.

In addition to their on-court success, the Spirit live up to their name as a team deeply integrated in the Bendigo community and involved in grassroots programs for the region.

Ways we support Australian communities.

The main way we assist communities is with local grassroots sponsorship through our national branch network, with the establishment of long-term relationships and commitment from both partners.

Through Foundation, the Philanthropic arm of Bendigo Bank, we manage grants, scholarships and community-focused appeals to get funding where it is needed and create a lasting difference.
