Going paperless
e-banking gives you the option to opt-out of receiving paper statements on your accounts.
Instead of receiving paper statements by post, you will be required to provide an email address. When a statement is ready, we will send you an email notification to let you know you can access it in e-banking. Please note, you cannot receive email notifications if you have not opted out of paper statements.
To opt-out a single account:
- Select the account on the Accounts screen
- Select the settings icon at the top right corner of the screen
- Select Statement Preferences
- Tick the check box to the right of the Go Paperless box
- Add up to 3 email addresses to receive notifications when a new statement is ready
- Select Save
To opt-out multiple accounts:
- Select the Settings tile (found in the More menu in the Bendigo Bank app)
- Select Edit statement preferences
- Tick the check box to the right of each account you want to opt-out
- Add up to 3 email addresses to receive notifications when a new statement is ready
- Select Save
Proof of Account
You can download a PDF Proof of Account document from e-banking that displays:
- Your name and address
- Account details:
- Title/name
- BSB
- Account number
- Open date
- Current balance
- Up to 3 months of transactions
- The date it was generated
This can be helpful when you need to provide up to date banking details, for example to Centrelink or another financial institution.
