Online FX in e-banking
Online FX is an electronic dealing system for foreign exchange transactions in e-banking.
The service allows you to transact foreign exchange using your desktop, mobile phone or tablet, with exchange rates available in e-banking when you need to transact.
Please note, Online FX is only available to business customers.
Accessing Online FX
To apply for Online FX, please email our Bendigo Bank Financial Markets team. You must have a security token set up to use the Online FX service.
You can also speak with the team on 1800 061 783 or contact your Business Banking Manager to discuss your foreign exchange needs.
Once Online FX has been set up on your account, you can access it by selecting the Online FX tile in e-banking.
If you are an existing Financial Markets customer, you may see the Online FX tile in e-banking, but you will be unable to create deals until our team has set up Online FX for you.
Using Online FX
Online FX allows you to create and settle value today exchange rates. Requests completed after relevant currency cut-off times will be completed on a value tomorrow basis.
The screens can be fully customised, allowing you to select the currency pairs that are relevant to your needs. All exchange rates received in Online FX are based on a live foreign exchange market at the time the rate request is received.
Please note:
- The service is available between 6:00am and 10:00pm AEST/AEDT – Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Victoria, Australia
- All foreign exchange transactions must be completed against the Australian dollar
- The ability to transact future dated exchange rates (Forward Contracts) is not yet available

Fees and charges
Fees and charges for Telegraphic Transfers apply when using Online FX.

Foreign cash and travellers cheques
Foreign cash and traveller cheque transactions cannot be completed using Online FX. To discuss your needs for foreign cash and traveller cheques, please visit your local branch or call us on 1300 236 344.
