5 July 2022 |Announcements

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank customers in flood-affected areas in NSW will be offered financial relief with a range of measures now available to eligible customers. The Bank is monitoring the situation and will review and update its response as necessary.

Chief Customer Officer Consumer Banking Richard Fennell said: “We are here to help and would like to remind our customers that safety should be their number one priority. We encourage any customers who are in difficulty to contact us when it is safe for them to do so.”

“We are offering Bendigo Bank home loan, business loan and agribusiness loan customers impacted by the floods a range of relief measures including loan repayment deferrals of up to three months. The package also includes discounted interest rates, fee waivers and other concessions. Our team members are available to ensure requests for assistance are managed promptly.”

An appeal to assist communities affected by floods and run by the bank’s charitable arm remains open and has raised $713,315 since March. The Community Enterprise Foundation has already distributed $53,000 back into the community, providing flood relief for families, books to the Lismore library and funded mobile counselling services.
