Rural Bank, a 100 per cent-owned subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank (BEN), has received a credit rating upgrade from ratings agency Standard & Poor’s.
The upgrade – from BBB, to BBB+/A2 with a stable outlook – follows last week’s settlement of the sale of the remaining 40pc stake in Rural Bank from Elders Limited.
