$366 million reinvested nationally
Our network is committed to returning profits to local communities. That's why we're Australia's #1 'community' bank. And we're playing our part.
Investing in our future
Congratulations to Darcie O'Connell our 2023 University Scholarship recipient. Darcie completed her HSC at Colo High School in 2022 and will be completing a Bachelor in Nursing (Advanced Studies) at the University of Sydney NSW. Darcie hopes to one day work as a care flight nurse or nurse practitioner in rural and remote communities.
We wish Darcie every success with her studies and future goals.
Since Darcie is our 16th Community Bank Scholarship recipient to date, and we are proud to say we have so far reinvested $137,000 into the youth of our community via university and TAFE scholarships.
Thank you to our customers. The sponsorships, scholarships and support we provide to our community would not be possible without YOU!
Thank you for supporting your Community.
Community Defib Project
Our Community Bank is a proud supporter of the Community Defib project having funded defibrillators in Bilpin, Bowen Mountain, Mountain Lagoon, Upper Colo Valley, RSL Kingsford Smith Village North Richmond, North Richmond (Community Bank), Richmond (Community Bank) and East Kurrajong.
It is so rewarding to read about the impact this support has had in our community as reported by The Hawkesbury Post in a social media post on 11 February 2025.
"A community defibrillator installed just two months ago in East Kurrajong has already proven its worth in a medical emergency in late January, just 64 days after installation, highlighting the importance of accessible life-saving equipment in rural areas.
The automated external defibrillator (AED), located at 725 East Kurrajong Road, was installed in November 2024 through the generous sponsorship of Community Bank North Richmond & Districts and Richmond. Local resident Alyssa Pluckè spearheaded the initiative to bring the equipment to the community." The full story can be found on our Facebook page.

Supporting Youth Services in our Community
We are very proud to be supporting the North Richmond Community Centre and their initiative to expand existing services to youth in our area.
Through our sponsorship programme we have provided funds enabling them to now open a youth drop-in centre at the Richmond Community Centre one day a week, in addition to the services they already provide at the North Richmond Centre 3 days a week.
The drop-in centre at Richmond will be open between the hours of 3pm-5pm.
These centres are vital in our community and provide youth between the ages of 12-18 with a safe place to meet, access to information and services through qualified youth workers and access to social, recreational and educational activities.
This has been a big project and Birgit, and her team have done an amazing job getting it up and running. Well done to all.
