Reducing intergenerational violence
We are proud to have funded and helped to establish the RIV Project (Reducing Intergenerational Violence). Driven by The Womens Cottage, this program aims to increase safety for young people, families, and schools by fostering relationship skills in young people.
The 10-year program provides education for local students, encourages safe and respectful relationships, helps identify concerns, connects young people to support services and builds awareness of domestic and family violence.
The goal is to create lasting long-term change in the lives of young people in the Hawkesbury community.
Investing in our future
Congratulations to our 2026 scholarship recipients Michael and Kaylea (pictured above with our team).
Kaylea is very excited to begin her studies at the University of Western Sydney where she will be working towards her Bachelor of Nursing degree. Michael will be completing his Certificate 111 in Engineering-Mechanical Trade while continuing his apprenticeship and working in the field.
Other university scholarships were awarded to Blaize (who will attend the Australian Catholic University completing a Bachelor of Nursing) and Darcy who will be completing a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Western Sydney.
Community Defib Project
We are proud to have funded defibrillators in Bilpin, Bowen Mountain, Mountain Lagoon, Upper Colo Valley, RSL Kingsford Smith Village North Richmond, North Richmond (Community Bank), Richmond (Community Bank) and East Kurrajong.
It is rewarding to hear about the impact these defib units have had in the community.
Learn more about our defib program on our Facebook page.
Sponsorships and Grants
We are committed to supporting local communities
Yes, it’s time to feel good about who you bank with.
Our Community Bank branches give up to 80% of profits back to the community. We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community.
Community investment
We support initiatives through grants, sponsorships and scholarships that help create a resilient, sustainable and thriving community.
To date the company has contributed over $4 million back into the Hawkesbury community.
Supporting youth services
We are proud to support the North Richmond Community Centre to expand existing youth services in our area.
We've provided funds for them to open a youth drop-in centre at the Richmond Community Centre one day a week.
This gives young poeple a safe place to meet, access to qualified youth workers and social, recreational and educational opportunities.
