We are proud to be uniting behind the Rotary Clubs of Australia for a national drought appeal, with a focus on both short term needs and longer term recovery for farmers and their communities. The expertise of our Community Enterprise FoundationTM in philanthropy and grants will assist Rotary with their critical job of raising and distributing funds to drought affected communities.
We thank you for uniting with us and Rotary Clubs of Australia to sustain our farm communities.
While many farmers have strengthened resilience in their farm business to weather dry times, the current ongoing drought across much of Queensland, the extreme drought being experienced in NSW, and the prolonged dry conditions in parts of Victoria and South Australia, mean even strong people, businesses and communities need some support.
The drought appeal is a part of our commitment to the sustainability of agricultural communities. Alongside our specialist agribusiness division Rural Bank, we take a long term view of supporting farming customers and their communities through both prosperous and challenging times and the inevitable cycles of agriculture.
