Eligibility
Hold one of the following Commonwealth Government concession cards:
- Health Care card
- Pensioner Concession card
- Commonwealth Seniors Health card
- Department of Veterans' Affairs Health card (Gold Card or Repatriation Health Card)
Or we determine that you are eligible in any other way.
Ongoing requirements:
- You must have your qualifying Government pension or allowance paid into this account (where applicable)
- You will need to provide proof of ongoing eligibility

Not available to business customers. Please visit a branch to open a joint account.

Yes, customers can open multiple Concession Accounts either in individual or joint names. Please note that eligible Australian Government payments need to be deposited ongoing into one of your Concession Accounts to remain eligible.
To be eligible you must hold one of the following Commonwealth Government concession cards:

Yes, as long as one member on the account holds an eligible concession card or is receiving an eligible payment. Any eligible payments need to be deposited into the Concession Account.

No. Our system will automatically prevent overdrawn fees and dishonour fees from being charged to the account and will automatically return direct debits that overdraw the account.
No, you will need to attend your local branch with the appropriate identification documents and your physical or digital concession card to open a Concession Account.
No. The Concession Account cannot have an overdraft.
No, EFT credit transfers are not free on the Concession Account. To see a full list of fees please refer to the Schedule of Fees Charges and Transaction Account Rebates booklet.
