More about our branch
What's happening
Do good. Do more. And do well.
Did you ever think you'd hear about a Bank that invests the majority of its profits back into the local community?
We began after the Wantirna Mall and local Wantirna residents were left without a bank for 6 years! Since opening the doors and launching the Community Bank model, we've injected more than $246,700 in our close community of Wantirna.
Current news
Read the latest news from Community Bank Wantirna.
Community, let's build it together! $246,700 invested into the community.
For those new to the Community Bank model, it is a concept unique from the other big banks. The majority of profits derived from customers that bank at our branch are invested back into the community in a range of ways. This means that our customers are investing back into their own community, into local schools, not for profit organisations, clubs, societies, youth development programs, community centres and the like.

Sponsorships and Grants
We are committed to supporting local communities
You may not think it matters who you bank with. But we know that’s not the case. Just take a look at our 2020/21 Community Balance Sheet.
Yes, it’s time to feel good about who you bank with.
Our Community Bank branches give up to 80% of profits back to the community. We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community.
As Community Bank Wantirna grows, the investment into the community will continue to grow. You can be a part of this, and have an impact in the community, simply by taking care of your banking and financial needs at Wantirna Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank.
Wantirna Sponsorship Program
A community sponsorship is a significant step in developing an on-going relationship with the Community Bank Wantirna. We consider community sponsorships as a unique way to build community relationships, strengthen our banking business, and enable on-going investment in community organisations and projects within the City of Knox area.
To date, we have injected more than $246,700 invested back in to the community!
This is made possible only by the customers of our Community Bank branch.
Will your organisation be the next one we sponsor?

Dates:
Round 1 submissions must be received no later than 28 February.
Round 2 submissions must be received no later than 31 August.
