We're committed to supporting local communities

Yes, it's time to feel good about who you bank with. Our Community Bank branches give up to 80% of profits back to the community. We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community.

Mt Eliza Community Pitch

Community Bank Mt Eliza runs sponsorship applications and distributions through an annual event - the Mt Eliza Community Pitch. The COVID-19 pandemic impacted our plans for this event in 2020 and 2021.

In April 2021 our local branch provided Community Pitch support payments to the tune of $30,000 to 12 local applicant organisations. Our aim was to assist local organisations in their COVID-recovery efforts.

Our 2021 recipients

  • Peninsula Home Hospice
  • Mt Eliza Netball Club
  • Baxter Cricket Club
  • Dogs for Kids
  • Frankston/Mornington Flyers Swim Club
  • Mornington Peninsula Legacy
  • Mt Eliza Football Netball Club
  • Peninsula Transport Assist
  • Baden Powell Cricket Club
  • Mornington Life Saving Club
  • Peninsula Arts Society
  • Mt Eliza Girl Guides

All of these groups make contributions to community health and wellbeing in Mt Eliza: whether it’s bringing the community together for sport, providing transport or other valuable community services and activities.

We’re delighted to support them to find their feet and new operating rhythms after the disruptive lock-downs and operational challenges.

Thank you to our local customers who have made this happen.
