What is a security token? Can I change my security token settings? How do I arrange a free e-token (digital security token)? Automatic Security Tokens Why is my security token not working? What do I do if my e-token was on a mobile device that is lost, stolen, broken or has been replaced? Why do I need my security token if I have Four-digit PIN?

How do I arrange a free e-token (digital security token)?

An e-token is a free digital security token option delivered via a smartphone app called ‘Symantec VIP Access’.

To register your free e-token

Step one:

  • Download the Symantec VIP Access app now.

Apple Store

Andriod

Step two:

  • Visit your local branch or call us on 1300 236 344.

  • We will ask for your unique Credential ID to register you (visible when you open the Symantec VIP Access app on your device).

Step three:

  • Like to do your banking with the Bendigo Bank app? Find out how to automate your security token!

You’re ready to go!

If e-banking requires you to enter a security token, just open the VIP Access app and copy and paste the 6-digit security code into e-banking.

Hints:

  • If you hold down on the 6-digit security code, it will automatically copy to your device’s clipboard, allowing you to paste it into e-banking!

  • If you do your banking with the Bendigo Bank app you can automate your security token. The app will provide you security token protection without the need to manually enter 6-digit security codes.

If you wish to shift your e-token to a different device, repeat the registration steps above using your new device.
