What is a security token?
At Bendigo Bank it's really important to us that your money and information is secure.
Additional to your Access ID and Password, a security token provides a second level of authentication and is required in order to use some services like updating your contact details or sending money using Pay Anyone.
Security tokens create a temporary 6-digit code that can only be used once and changes regularly. Where additional security is required, Bendigo e-banking will prompt you to enter a valid 6-digit code generated by your security token.
Please ensure you never provide your 6-digit code from your security token to anyone. Visit our Online Security page for more information.
There are two types of security tokens available:
- e-token - a smartphone app that is free and convenient to use wherever you take your device;
- One-touch token - a physical token available to purchase for $20.
Find out more about how to set up and use e-tokens.
To purchase a One-touch Security Token, visit your local branch or call us on 1300 236 344.
